What we process and why

Orders. To fulfil your order we process your name, delivery address, e-mail address, phone number and the details of what you bought. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Order data is kept for seven years to meet Belgian accounting and VAT obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Customer account. If you create an account, we store your login details and order history until you delete the account.

Contact form and e-mail. When you write to us we process the details you provide in order to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or the contract if the enquiry concerns an order. Messages are deleted once the matter is closed, unless a statutory retention period applies.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and referrer of each visit in server log files for security and stability. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after a short period.

Recipients

Hosting: this website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Larnaca, Cyprus, on servers within the European Union, under a data processing agreement.

Delivery: we pass your name, address and, where needed for delivery, your phone number and e-mail address to DHL so that the parcel can be delivered and tracked.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Cookies

This website only sets cookies that are technically necessary for the shop to work: the shopping basket, the checkout session and, if you log in, your session. These do not require consent. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Belgium the Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be.

Security

The website is served over TLS (https). Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to process orders.
